Hyip
Is anyone familiar with HYIP programs? I heard about them from someone I know, but we think that they are a scam. I'd rather not get involved if that is the case.

A high-yield investment program (HYIP) is a type of Ponzi scheme, which is an investment scam that promises an unsustainably high return on investment by paying previous investors with the money invested by newcomers. Not all of them are scams, but one doesn't guarantee either ;) I'd recommend staying away from such so called wonderful schemes :dancing:

Thanks. Can you recommend the legitimate ones, even if you cannot guarantee that they are trustable? What about LYIP? Is there such schemes on the net? I really want to invest my small money and don't mind to get low return as long as the website I deal with is paying.

There are many HYIP as well as LYIP plans available on various websites on the Internet, however, when it comes to legitimate ones, we are not sure about them ;)
You'll find many websites on the Internet offering different types of deals with the investment plans. However, we aren't sure whether they will be paying something in return to the investment you'll be doing ;)

I would recommend that you should shun away from such programs. It is true that there are legitimate ones but it cannot really guarantee you that you're investment will return. They could be gone overnight before you know it.
Try to find an investment program in your local area and that will be better I guess. You will even help the people in your place with your investment.

Yes, that's true. I notice many PTC programs (not investment programs; you just need to invest your time instead of money) were legitimate and paying their members for two or three first requests then turned to scam.

Recently I made a quick research on HYIP programs available on the net, visiting HYIP forums, HYIP monitors, etc. and I learned that none can guarantee legitimacy of the programs. Even the ones which offered low interest turned to scam their investors. Hammering

The reason for this is the fact that HYIP programs claim to offer a very high interest rate for the investment (even which claim to offer less claim to offer more than one can get from investing in the market ;)) which is actually not possible as every business has some limitations when it comes to the interest rate which can be achieved by investing in the business
Therefore, it is better to stay away from such programs and invest in potential market where you'll earn less interest rate but the investment will be safe

Some HYIP websites stated that they are financial companies and they invest the investors' money on forex and stock market. I hear that forex trading is a lucrative business provided that you are equipped with enough knowledge and information about the business. Do you think they can make enough money to pay interest to their investors?
