Default Business phone number

If you run an online store or business, do you also provide toll-free phone numbers to your customers or simply use email and chat as means of contact? If you're a customer, do you find it more reassuring if the company you're doing business with has a phone number you could call? How important would you say having a business phone number is to an online business?

Certainly! I believe a web hosting company should offer 24x7x365 support through Email, Live Chat and Phone. All these three modes of communication are very important.

For quick questions, Phone and Live Chat support are preferred as they are faster modes to get in touch.

Yeah, 24x7 customer support via Live Chat, Phone and tickets are some of the pointers of Good customer service. Having a business phone number can be really fruitful, your customers can reach you whenever they are in need of help from you. This would definately add up to the trust level of the customer in you.

if i want to buy something online,
first i would look for the "contact us" part in the webiste,
and it is really trustworthy if the phone number can be found.
just think in your customer's side, you can get the answer.

Definitely, Phone support is the best mode of communication and customers need it. It makes a lot of difference when you talk to someone rather than chatting or communicating via Email

Hence, if you have an online business, Phone support is the most important.

If I'm a customer, I find it more reassuring if the company that I am doing business with has a phone number I could call because this is a must for every business netrepreneurs online - real contact information should be provided so that they can build credibility and trust of their own customers and make them feel that the business they are dealing with is legitimate and genuine.

This must be posted in every business company, online or offline.

Customers satisfaction must always be the priority of companies. But sad to say that many large companies don't really care about their customers satisfaction. As long as they profit from their products or services then that's all that matters to them.

Though I will feel more confident if a company I deal with provide a phone number to contact, personally I won't need it so much. But live chat is a must. As a customers, I feel most comfortable to contact the customer support via live chat than phone or email.
