I've been checking out some helpdesk solutions, and it's clear that Kayako is definitely the market leader. However, it
is a commercial product, so it doesn't exactly come cheap. I did find one free helpdesk software that looked like a good alternative: TrellisDesk.
So has anyone here tried it? From then features list and demo it looks very similar to Kayako, which is a
e plus. It doesn't appear to have live chat support, though, but that's okay since there are other good freeware programs for live chat (LiveZilla comes to mind). I plan to try TrellisDesk out, but I'm wondering if any of you already have. If so, how was it?
