how to check the backlink effectively?

Dear firends:

I'm really confused,there are many SEO tool for checking the back link for website. and often the result is different even for a single website.

such as search in google in this way:"link:dimain "
and the result is different in google, yahoo,firefox and many other search engine.

It is obvious that you get different results on different Search Engine for the same website. We cannot guess what can be their considerations and how the selection of backlinks work for each of them. What we can do is just work hard to get more backlinks to our website.

The reason you get different results on different Search Engines is the fact that the Algorithm of each Search Engine is different. Each Search Engine determines the rankings of the websites according to the Algorithm it has and hence the results are different.

to check my site is in sandbox or not ?

You can search your site with the keywords and check if the ranking is decreased. If you find that that the ranking is decreased then yes it is possible that your site is in Sandbox. If so, you will have to contact Google to get it removed from the list.
