Default Selling established websites

Some guy offered to buy my ecommerce website off me. It's not very busy and it doesn't make much profit but the guy wants it. How much should I charge him for it?

It all depends on you how much would you like to earn from it ;). Well, I would suggest you to calculate your annual income from it and charge him atleast an amount that equals your annual income.

Perhaps, you can ask him his offer price first.

It is better to calculate the amount of money you spend on your website and the amount of money you earn from it. Once You get the amount you earn from your website then you can ask for the offers and accept an offer which is the best one ;)

That's right, you should calculate all the amount spend on thing like designing, developing, domain, hosting, site maintenance, marketing and your current earnings from it.

Also, you can try out the same purchasing few websites, improving their design, optimizing them well and sell them again by calculating the money you spent on it. This is a good way to make money online.

Correct. This can be a good option to earn Money online but it is also possible to earn money if you keep on Developing the website and use it for yourself only. This can be a good option as you will be able to concentrate on a single website and use all your skills and techniques to develop the website and you can then use the website for yourself and earn a good amount of money from it.

I agree with Joseph, instead of selling your domain you should try to do some work on it and try to make it as active as possible. If your domain is older, then Search Engines too would give preference to your content which would fetch you good benefits. Yet if you intend to sell it then there are many domain name auction sites.Try to submit to them and check out for the best offers.

Thumbs up

You will find many Domain name Auction websites on the Internet and you can use them to sell your Domain name. Some of the websites may charge you some amount as commission to sell your Domain name and some are Free. You can sell the Domain name from where you get the best deal. Best of Luck, may you find the best deal.
