Default Which website income?

Most of my sites so far are based around affiliate products and sales. I create content to fill the sites and get them ranked nicely and the sales come. But my last site I built around an affiliate product that was withdrawn before I finished the site, so I turned it into just an Adsense site with plenty of content and I'm surprised to see it earns very well all on its own with no other products!

Now I'm confused which way to continue - affiliates or ads?

So you're basically saying you're making money from sites that require no updtaes or upkeep? But you have other sites that require maintenance and advertising to make money?

Wouldn't that mean the ones needing less updating are more profitable because you're not spending your time?
