Default Where is the money?

I see the late night TV ads that tout these systems where you can get rich in your sleep. I know that they are full of crap. However, somebody is making money here somewhere. Where is it? Can you actually create a website, or a number of websites, and earn a full income? My two income household currently brings in about $75000 a year. I would like to replace $50000 of that on line. I have an idea, but the more I think it through, the more complicated it gets.

Definitely there is someone making money. Yes you can create a website to earn as there are many earning a e amount. However it's luck factor I believe because creating a successful business website is not an easy task. You can work hard and try your best. I'm sure your efforts won't get waste. Best Luck!!

It is hard to make a stable income from a website. First you need an idea that will attract potential customers. Then you need to get some traffic. It probably won't be very successful in the first few month unless you invest a lot of money. It should also be noted that you would need to sell some sort of service or good because money does not just fall into your lap.

Well, when it comes to earn money online, there are many ways of doing it. If you wish to earn money by creating your own website then firstly, you will have to decide the type of website you will have. You can have a business website (also known as Ecommerce website), a Blog, Forum etc. If you have an E-commerce website then you can sell products and earn money or you can have a blog or a forum and earn money through advertisements on them.

The people on those ads make their money by selling you a product that's supposed to teach you to make money. This means they're likely to teach you do to what they're doing - and that's creating a nice product like an ebook or course, put it on your website and then advertise your product so you're making sales.

Making money on internet is not so hard, but it do takes time to get success in it. Creating blogs or website and selling products on it is very easy, but it needs to be maintain, and the most part is to get customers thru internet. And that can be done only by SEO of the website.

Well, as per your statements, it seems that you have earned money online very easily ;). Yes, it definitely takes time to earn money online and true hardwork and dedication is required for the same. When it comes to creating Blogs, it is easy to setup them up but it is not necessary that they will be successful. When we talk about selling online products, it is not very easy to attract customers as the products you sell are also available on many other websites and convincing customers to buy your products is a difficult job.

So, then, would it be more effective to develop a content rich website in a specific niche and then sell advertising on your site? For example, starting a site dedicated to guitar players, driving alot of traffic to the site, and then selling ad space to guitar makers.

Well, if your website is content rich and you receive a good number of visitors on your website then you will definitely get paid for advertisements. However, if your create a website dedicated to guitar players only then it is not necessary that you can have advertisements for guitar makers only. You can have advertisements for Musical store or a Drum supplier also. It is also possible that you will have advertisement offers from a hosting company ;) The important thing is the quality and the number of visitors you have on your website.

Hope this helps..

I think the people making the money on those TV ads are the people who make the ads and con the unsuspecting person to send them money for some semi-bogus information. If it's too good to be true, it usually is!

I know people that are making about $5000 per month online from their own created businesses but they worked for years to achieve that + they had a lot of time to spare which many of us don't.

Making your first $100 online is insanely hard and it takes a lot of time. Going from that $100 to $500 is a lot easier. From $500 to $1000 is much harder... At least that is my experience.

I will agree that beginnings are pretty hard before you get your machine up and running. Then you start to see the paterns and everything is tweaking and improving from that point on.
