You can use Opt-in e-mail through which you can reach their target audiences even from simple lists. However, it is not enough to simply push advertisement to subscribers on mailing lists. E-mail lists with profiling perform best, because subscribers who receive promotional e-mail offers based on their profiles.

Tips for buying a commercial mailing list:
1. Only buy opt-in lists;
2. Only use reputable list brokers;
3. Check the source of the lists you are buying – how, where and when were people signed up and what did they agree to receive.
4. Be specific while choosing your lists in order to target your audience e.g. by location, sex, age, interests etc.

Your messages should also contain an opt-out option where the receivers of the message have the option to be removed from your mailing list. Otherwise, your messages may be considered to Spam.

Also consider personalizing your message by using the recipients' names and ensuring that the information they receive is actually something they have indicated that they have an interest in. Make sure your message contains compelling benefits to the readers. The format of the messages is something to consider as it is important that the format of your email is able to be read by all recipients.

I didn't see anyone named Peter, but I am getting an education here. This is good information. I have never used my e-mail for anything on my site except to talk to people. It's good to know I can use it for business. Thanx
