Membership Password Protected Sites

Does anyone else run a paid membership site? I've been considering adding a paid membership site that's password protected to my existing ecommerce site, but have no idea where to start.

It is not very difficult to setup a paid membership website and as you already have an e-commerce website, you can contact your web developer to develop a paid membership website and then integrate it with your existing website.

Membership sites are great for residual income, but you have to keep the content fresh or you will start seeing your members drop off pretty quick.
