Default Favorite Shopping Cart Software

I know that there are so many shopping cart softwares out there these days that it is really confusing. However, which ones have you used and what is your favorite?

I have used ZenCart Shopping cart and I think it is really easy to use it. I prefer it since I have been using it from a long time. I will not be changing my Shopping cart soon as this has become my favorite one. :dancing:

I have not used a shopping cart software for a while, but I used to use the CubeCart and I though that it was pretty cool. However, that was the only one I have used, so I have nothing to compare it to.

I'm technology-challenged, so I use the easiest options I can find. I use the 'add to cart' button that I created within my paypal account. I add this to the bottom of the sales page for each product I have. Easy.

Any products that have an affiliate program running, I create my own 'buy now' button and put the clickbank purchase link behind the button.

I use ZenCart as well, it is user-friendly and is free to install. It is very CSS dependent, has a professional interface and you can even find a lot of themes in this software.

I like OS-Commerce shopping cart. With OS-Commerce you can easily add multiple products on your website.

Bingo!

I have messed around with Zen before with a friends site and I am still not sure if it was the site or cart but I like OS over Zen, something just feels right with it.

I think this is not a very great advantage as Zen cart also has the same feature. You cannot consider this as a very good benefit however, I have used OS-Commerce shopping cart and I found that this is also a good one to use.

Chiana, can you expand a bit on how you use paypal to do this? How does the "add to cart" button work if you aren't actually using a shopping cart program?

First and foremost thing you will have to setup a merchant account with either PayPal or any payment gateway you want. Once you start installing shopping cart on your website you will get a gateway setup option and after it is setup successfully on your website you are ready to accept payment.
