Default Skip ClickBank

Clickbank has a lot of products, no doubt about that, but their refund policy is a joke. Lately there is a rash of serial refunders who are swooping through CB, grabbing the products they want and then requesting refunds down the line. You would think they would have some sort of tracking in place on IPs etc to stop this but they don't seem to care.

Well this could occur with PayPal as well, especially if it's a digital good.

I haven't found a good solution yet to prevent theft on digital items, but one way of helping to prevent it would be to put part of the product online, and make it accessible only by logging in. So after a user got their refund, you could pull the plug on their online membership account and they wouldn't have access to it anymore. It probably only works for certain products though, but it's a decent solution for now..

So if you had an eBook, put the final chapter online etc.

Sure it can occur through paypal but it's not the same thing. Paypal is merely a payment processor. Clickbank has a system specifically for information marketers and they have no controls in place within that system to eliminate fraud.

I work with some affiliate programs on some of my blogs but I try to promote the ones that pay directly to my Paypal account - no wait, no fuss. You still can end up with chargebacks, unfortunately, but the program owner gets to deal with that.

Well, all you have to do is keep a watch on disputes that are opened by the clients which can be viewed by you in your paypal account. You can also reply to those disputes and solve issues in case he mentions that the service was not delivered.

Well, if this is the case then I would also suggest everyone to skip ClickBank. I agree that this can happen with Paypal also but I think they have a very good system for this as it is used by millions of people worldwide. I am saying this because if someone has tried to do this with Clickbank, someone would have surely tried this with Paypal also.

I did not get any information about any such case with Paypal till now. Maybe, I can get something like this with Paypal in future. But until then, my vote goes to Paypal.

I'm learning that if you have digital products to sell, then skip ClickBank and put your products on Click2Sell.eu They're cheaper, faster and have a better security policy for serial refunders.

Perhaps with the large volume of people that ClickBank deals with, they don't have time to screen everyone. Sometimes it's easier to just refund then to trace it and figure it all out.

Paypal is perhaps a much better option when compared to ClickBank.
