Default NFS mounts with different user name

Hi

I have a NFS web server and four NFS client systems. When I mount it on client system it mounts utterly with the similar user name, as in server, however, in one NFS client it mounts with different user name. I could not figured out the reason behind this. So let me know how do I mount it with same user name, as in server.

You need to check uid (user id) of that particular user name on that client. Analyze that with the other clients and server. One more thing you need elaborate that how are you sharing on the server?

The user id of the shared user in the server is different and in client it is different. So how can I make the NFS share to consider it with the user name instead of uid?

According to my knowledge, there is no such thing as configuring NFS with user name, because uid differ client/server configuration. However, you should configure NFS with LDAP so every client will have a server log in and it is the uid/gid from that every user will come into.
