Dedicated server hosting and Media web site

Hiya

Regarding to media website, which type of hosting package is more suitable. As right now we have three dedicated servers with high end processor. What we've noticed that when the registered user upload videos and mp3 and plus other users accessing videos and mp3 at the same time, then server load increases at extremely high level and everything slows down.

I would recommend you to go with private cloud hosting to get the best performance for your media site. Cloud computing is a cluster of servers that to the end user just feels like one physical server.

You need to mention how much load currently you have, how many visitors, bandwidth consumption during file uploads and downloading, server configuration ????? If you have the high end dedicated web servers, then I'd suggest you to opt load balanced server hosting solution.

Its obvious that load balanced server hosting solution is the nicest alternative solution to dedicated cloud hosting, but its all depends on users choice. Perhaps private cloud computing looks expensive at initial stage, but if OP is willing to pay, then it is the best solution for the issues you are facing with your current media website.

I too agree with SandraJose. I would like to recommed and need to add to the above discussion, that you can go with cloud website hosting that can be public cloud or it could private cloud hosting or can be dedicated server too which can get the best performance while the load is much high for your media site.
