Default Questions to ask a dedicated hosting provider

Hi!
I am new in hosting. I don't have much more knowledge about that.
I want to know that what are some good questions to ask a dedicated hosting provider before I sign up?

There are many question, But You can ask the following question.
1. What brand computers do you utilize?
2. If something breaks, do you have spare parts to fix it immediately?
3. What kind of maintenance plan do you have with your hardware provider? Fire1

There are few more question :
1. What are the hardware specs you have available (CPU speed, drive size, memory, etc.)?
2. What kind of connection to the Internet do you have?
3. What management methods are available for me to administer my server?
4. What kind of backup options do you offer to save my data? Hammering

Red face How can I setup a web server at home

Can I setup a web server at home with the local IP (192.168.1.100) and let people to surf it on the Internet?
Anybody know the detail to set it up!

Hi, No, you won't be able to let people surf your local web server with a local IP address. You'd need to have a public (static) IP address assigned to your web server so that other can browse it over..
