Hello!
Managed Hosting is for those users who like to have their web host company manage and monitor their dedicated servers, OS and all supported applications. Companies who don't have the needed system administration resources on-staff commonly select this option. Unmanaged Hosting is for customers who have extensive system administration expertise to maintain and manage their dedicated servers. This option normally offer users with full access to their server allowing them to customize configurations. :drunk:

If you need to upgrade your server, it is usually much easier with a dedicated option. You’ll have more control over backing up your content, and the ability to add more options and features, as well as disk space by simply upgrading your existing dedicated hosting package.

With Unmanaged servers, you will have to take care of all the applications installed on the dedicated server and you won't get technical assistance if at all needed, however, if you choose a managed dedicated server, you will get round the clock assistance and all the necessary applications are pre-installed on the dedicated server.

The installation and configuration of the necessary applications will be taken care by our technical support team. You won't need to pay additional charges for this service or for the support. You only need to pay for the dedicated server you choose.

Additionally, with managed hosting solution, the client usually gets quality monitoring services round the clock. Apart from being real cost-saving features in the long run, the leasing of dedicated servers from a very competent and reliable dedicated server hosting company allows the client to concentrate more on the daily needs of the business, for example, marketing, administration, sales, accounting, and other daily tasks that keeps his regular teams very busy.

unmanaged dedicated server
An unmanaged dedicated server means you are responsible for every aspect of maintaining the server, from installing upgrades and patches and ensuring server uptime.

managed dedicated server
A managed dedicated server, however, means that the host will ensure all the technicalities of keeping servers up-to-date and running smoothly are done. If the server goes down, the hosting company will get it back online for you.
