Hello!
Dedicated Hosting is a service that Web hosting provider provide to their users whose websites create a lot of traffic. Mainly , and entire server is utilized for a single customer, assuring that all of the server's resources are utilized to that customer's requirement. This is very considerable for companies that do business online, as massive traffic tends to eat up bandwidth and make sluggish websites. :dancing:

Dedicated hosting is a good option for someone who wants more storage and bandwidth and control over the server. The advantages of having dedicated hosting are: unlimited databases and email addresses as well as unlimited bandwidth. Generally, a dedicated server plan offers the user with a monthly bandwidth of 500 GB to 1 TB. Also important to know that there are two types of dedicated web hosting plans: managed and unmanaged. Managed hosting is hosting that is still controlled by the hosting company. In unmanaged dedicated web hosting, the user is the server administrator, permitting the user the greatest amount of control and flexibility. Unfortunately, unmanaged hosting is complicated and takes more time than a managed hosting solution

A dedicated hosting service, dedicated server, or managed hosting service is a type of Internet hosting in which the client leases an entire server not shared with anyone. This is more flexible than shared hosting, as organizations have full control over the server(s), including choice of operating system, hardware, etc. Server administration can usually be provided by the hosting company as an add-on service. In some cases a dedicated server can offer less overhead and a larger return on investment. Dedicated servers are most often housed in data centers, similar to colocation facilities, providing redundant power sources and HVAC systems. In contrast to colocation, the server hardware is owned by the provider and in some cases they will provide support for your operating system or applications.

To give a clear idea of the dedicated hosting package, it is important that one understands the basic concept of 3 types of hosting i.e. Shared hosting package, VPS hosting package and the Dedicated server hosting package.

The shared hosting package is like like having a bed in a dormitory. Where You have to share a bathroom, common area and so on with the others.
On shared servers the accounts have to share Ram and all the server side configurations like mysql settings apache settings php version and directive settings, with each other.
Though price one pays is comparatively very low, but the access one gets over the server side settings and configurations is very limited, one will not be able to reboot the server.

VPS or Virtual Private Server is actually a go-between a virtual hosting/shared hosting package and a dedicated server package.
A Virtual Private Server is like living in an apartment or a hotel room. You have your own doors, walls and private bathroom. You have the privacy of your own room and you more or less can do anything you want.
Of course, you will share the infrastructure with the other residence in the apartment building. 'Virtual' means that it is not real. Basically, it is still a shared hosting account but unlike a normal shared hosting account,
each VPS has its own dedicated slice of the CPU, RAM and disk space. So basically, what you do will not affect the other VPS on the machine.

One would get the root access to the VPS and can reboot the VPS anytime, and make changes in system configurations as well.
A VPS on the other hand has restricted defined share of the CPU/RAM and Diskspace and most of the time, unless permitted, you cannot go beyond that allocation.
The good news is that no matter how crowded the server is, you still have your minimum allocation.
The bad news is that if your applications requires more than what the VPS can handle, you will have to bare with it even if there are more resources that is unused on the server.
Of course some VPS application allow bursting to a reasonable limit but some don't.

Now let us think about a Dedicated Server hosting, it is like owning and living in your own mansion, you can share it or keep it for completely dedicated towards your applications, it is up to you.
So you can manage all your applications and server side configurations as per your wish without having to share.
Each dedicated server runs on separate hardware set-ups while multiple VPS do run on a hardware set-up.VPS might face a down time or frequent overload because of a problem created by another VPS server, this doesn’t happen with dedicated servers

Dedicated Web Hosting
As the name suggest, in dedicated web hosting each website is given dedicated web server, no other website can share this under any case. It is used when a user expects to get e traffic. It has much greater bandwidth then the shared one so is able to handle traffic with much ease. This is also required if you need to have complex app, secure information and customized option in your website.

Business clients may need either one dedicated server or may even need many dedicated servers for running their crucial business needs like sales of products and services, customer support, and for addressing their specific business needs in many different countries. So dedicated server hosting is a compatible solution for them to cope up their all the essential business activities.
