Linux dedicated or Windows dedicated?

Which is preferable, linux dedicated server or windows dedicated server?
Please give me some comments or suggestion about it.

Hi!
There are mainly two operating system based Dedicated servers. Those are Linux dedicated server and other is Windows dedicated server. I think Linux dedicated server is much better than other operating system based dedicated server.

Yes, I am agree with you. Linux dedicated server is more better than other operating system based dedicated server. Linux dedicated server is more cost-effective, flexible, easy to use, secure, stable in comparison with other server operating systems. So, Linux dedicated server adds much more profits to your business than any other server.

Actually both platforms are good to use. It all depends on you, whether you like to opt Linux or Windows. In terms of applications support Windows is the best solution. However, in linux you'll get the range open source applications, which is the cost effective solution. The only one disadvantage I ever noticed with windows is its price tag due to the Microsoft Genuine License.
