Dedicated gaming server

I was thinking about starting up a server which will provide access to a number of online games. What type of server will I need to do this? Will I need anything else apart from this?

I do not know just a great deal on servers however this will depend largely on how many people you plan to have accessing this. If it will be very many people you may need to consider a cluster.

You should go for the clustered Dedicated Servers, which will give you reliability and a good performance also.

It basically depends on the Games you wish to host on the server plus the number of online users at a given point of time. For the recent high configuration games that require high resources,a dedicated server would be a good choice.
Additionally,make sure the games to be hosted are legal and not pirated.

Very important words of wisdom. Just because someone tells you that something is legal and not pirated, doesn't mean that it isn't. Get your games from reliable resources.
