Default Low end dedicated or corporate vps?

Looking at the hosting plans page, it seems that a low end dedicated and a corporate vps are both within the same price range. Interestingly enough, the VPS' specs look better than the dedicated, with the exception of the HDD space and bandwidth. How do they compare, performance-wise? If disk space and bandwidth is not an issue, would a corporate vps perform better than a low end dedicated server?

If performance is what you're looking for, then a high-grade VPS is indeed better than a low-end dedi. VPSes run on better hardware and thus have better performance. Frankly, the only thing I'd want to use a low-end dedi for would be storage or anything that doesn't require much resources.
