Default Apache failed to start

My Apache failed to start with following error:

Error : “/usr/local/apache/modules/libphp5.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied” Resolution
How can I fix it?

Do you have control panel installed in server, or do you have changed any thing in apache modules ?

I don’t have control panel in server and I have installed the apache and php from source.

The error occurs because the of wrong ownership if libphp5.s0. You can run the following command for this error you can use below chcon command to change the Selinux security context for the file :

chcon -t textrel_shlib_t /usr/local/apache/modules/libphp5.so
Also set Selinux mode to disabled.
