Hi

If you are well-known with your email client's setup, use the following information to retrieve email from your POP account:

Quote:
Incoming mail (POP3) server:
mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:
mail.yourdomain.com

set SMTP authorization within your email program to have the server authenticate you as a registered account holder.

There are 2 steps to get email.

1.] From cpanel

In-order to get emails from cpanel you first need to create it. And following are the steps to create it.
  • Login to cpanel Email >> Email Account
  • Fill in the details and click on Create Account.
  • Once it is done you email account will be created and it will be listed below.
  • Then to access it via cpanel itself click on “MORE” option next to the email account for which you want to access.
  • Then from the drop down list click on “Access Webmail”
  • Enter the password and hit Login
  • You can now send and receive email from here.....

2.] From outlook

You must correctly configure the email account to send and receive messages in Outlook.

To do this, you must have the following specific information about your e-mail account:

Detail to configure email account
  • Your full e-mail address.
  • The type of e-mail account: POP3.
  • Your user name.
  • Your password.
  • The SMTP server name or address should be mail.domainname.com or your server IP or your domain.com
  • The POP3 server name or address.mail.domainname.com or your server IP or your domain.com
  • The port number that is used for SMTP. (Most ISPs use port 25.)
  • The port number that is used for POP3. (Most ISPs use port 110.)
  • Outgoing e-mail server (SMTP) require authentication should be enabled

Steps to configure email account

1.Open Outlook 2007.
2.Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings.
3.Click on the Email tab and click on the New... button.
4.Next select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP and click Next.
5.On the Auto Account Setup window check the Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
6.Fill in the following fields:
***********************************************
Enter Your Name as you want it to appear.
Enter your full email address username@domainname.com in the Email address: field.
Select POP3.
Enter mail.domainname.com in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP) server: field.
Enter mail.domainname.com in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field.
Enter your username ie your email address in the Account name: field.
Enter your email password in the Password: field.
************************************************
7.Now Perform the following steps:
************************************************
Click on More Settings...
Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
Check My outgoing server (SMTP) Requires Authentication
Make sure Use same setting as my incoming mail server is also checked.
Click on OK.
************************************************
8.Click the Test Account Settings button and you should see all items with green check marks...
9.Click the Close Button to close the test window.
10.Click OK to save your settings.

If you have any other email client other then outlook then you can configure it wit the same details as above, and if you face any problem let me know the email client that you are using so that I can provide you the steps to configure email account there."

We do provide Webmail access, that is you are not sure how to configure emails in your email client, or if you would be roaming constantly and would like to store emails on server like Gmail etc !

Then you can access the emails using webmail. urls for webmail goes

http://webmail.domain.tld or

domain.tld/webmail for cpanel.

If you smarter mails, you can access it via

mail.domain.tld:9998
