Hi

Usually web host sets a limit of 400 Mb on shared hosting account, (it may vary depending on the web host) because backing up such large account requires a lot of system resources and may cause the problem on overall performance of the shared server. However you need to contact your web host for further details. However, there are some other options available such as FTP. With the help of FTP you can copy entire public_html directory to your local PC.
