cpanel license price

I see a different costing structure for cpanel on vps and on dedicated servers. Can someone explain to me why there is a difference as it uses same license.

Yes, that's the way the cPanel licensing structure is. Separate pricing structure for VPS and separate for dedicated servers

There is no difference in the features though. If cpanel provided the license for a VPS at the cost of dedicated server, in general we would find a vps very costly.
