Learning about the MAIN cps

I am trying to "educate" myself on the main control panel options but I keep finding all these little "want to be" control panels that I do not care to mess with. Can someone tell me what the top 4 or 5 control panels are? I intend to use Linux.

The most popular ones are cPanel/WHM for Linux Servers and Plesk for Windows Servers.

Thank you for pointing that out. Maybe there will be some indepth details and stuff on why I should or shouldn't choose one over the other.
