You mean accept emails using user@www.domain.com? I don't think that's possible, though, at least not in cPanel. cPanel doesn't treat www as a subdomain, so while you can have user@subdomain.domain.com, you can't have user@www.domain.com. Also, unless I'm mistaken, I believe the email protocol does not allow the use of www in the domain of an email address (at least, I haven't seen any).

I agree with you iamsam. I don't think that you can use the www in the email either. But, I'm on limited knowledge here and would love to know the answer to this question from an expert. ANYONE?

Ok thanks. I didn't think there was, but just wanted to see first. I thought I'd read somewhere that it could be done and I can't remember where that was.

In cPanel, you can surely create an email address like user@subdomain.domain.com, however, if you wish to do this, you will have to create a subdomain in cpanel and then only it is possible to create an email address like user@subdomain.domain.com. As said previously, it is not possible to create an email address like user@www.domain.com.

Also, we would like to know, is there any specific reason you wish to create an email address like user@www.domain.com ?

Thanks Carl,
Yes there is a reason I wanted to know this information. I have a friend that insist you can make and email such as user@www.domain.com and I've tried to explain to them over and over that you cannot. Now, that I've asked them experts here at Bodhost, I can show them proof as well. Thanks for the help guys
