You can definitely install Linux on it but as Rocky pointed out you'll have to decide what you want to do, you'll either have to get rid of Windows, install both and dual boot, or you could run Linux inside of Windows using that software he mentioned. However, I wouldn't recommend that Virtual Box method as it could be overwhelming if you're not familiar with it and it's definitely not a good idea if you want to create a server that will be running 24-7.
