Well, Intel as well as AMD are good when it comes to comparison but when it comes to choosing one, I would recommend Intel

The reason for this is the fact that Intel was the first major brand for desktop CPU's and has been in this industry for a long time, however, this is not the only reason for this recommendation as Intel processors have a 20 step execution process, whereas, AMD has a 10 step execution process due to which Intel processors have much higher clock speeds. The largest cache is 1mb when it comes to AMD, whereas, Intel processors have largest 2mb L3 cache. There is also a difference when it comes to the socket which is yet another benefit for Intel processors.
