Litespeed is also a web server just like Apache but it is said to have high performance and scalability in comparison to Apache. It is claimed that Litespeed is 6 times faster than Apache and hence is better in comparison to Apache. Litespeed web server is interchangeable with Apache and due to this reason, it can be replaced with Apache easily.
It has these advantages, however, the only drawback from a customers point of view is the fact that Litespeed web server is not available for free like Apache and hence you need to purchase license for it :(
