DNS (Domain Name System) is a database system that translates an IP address into a domain name. You can change the nameservers for your domain. You will have to contact the domain registrar and ask them to change the nameservers to what you need. Once they are changed you can ask your hosting provider to point them to their server. It is not at all a hard or difficult task
