Well, if you are considering a VPS hosting package then you can surely choose it and there is nothing to worry about as it is not very difficult to manage a VPS hosting package.

It is always recommended that you consider a VPS from a hosting provider which offers Fully managed servers (BODhost does offer Fully managed servers ;)). Fully managed services include quality support and most of the things like Server Setup, server monitoring, Server backup restoration in the event of a hardware failure, Regular maintenance of the operating system like updates and security patches etc. are managed by the hosting provider (confirm with the hosting provider ).

If you wish to upgrade from a shared hosting package to a VPS, we would suggest you to opt for a control panel with the VPS which will also allow you to manage the VPS quite efficiently
