I like the suggestion of adding Webmin as a control panel option. I haven't played around with as often as I probably should (since it's not ideal if you plan to resell hosting), but it's quite a robust control panel. In fact, I'd compare it favorably to some of the leading commercial panels, like cPanel or Plesk.

Yes, I think they should add Webmin as a control panel option also. I disagree with your comment on it not being a good option if you plan to offer hosting. It has a very robust server plan and account plan templates to make for individual users. It has every thing cPanel basically offers.
Webmin does however not offer in the GPL the ability to offer reseller accounts. By that I mean, you can't offer accounts that allow the clients to make their own plans off their resources and resell them. In my opinion most people don't need that anyways. As for just normally selling hosting, Webmin is great for it.
I think Bodhost should play around with Webmin and Virtualmin and see if they think its a viable option for a control panel. In my opinion, it will sell more of the cheaper VPS plans since people -will- have an option for a control panel (which is a must for most people) that wont raise the price of their server plan. Most users are unaware that they can easily install this control panel themselves, or even realize it exists.
I have Webmin running great on my VPS plan and loving it.
Note: When I say Webmin I mean Webmin + the Virtualmin plugin.
