Well, normally the VPS server node is behind a firewall and DDOS protected. Now, for the VPS, our Server Stats team keeps a watch on incoming / outgoing connections of the vps and if there are any attacks on the vps, we can definitely setup DDOS - Proxy shield for that VPS to make sure it doesn't affect other vps's on the same server node.
Most important is that we have to maintain our network uptime irrespective of any attacks or threats.
